HOLIDAYS: Full fees are charged for weeks shortened by Bank Holidays. Children are entitled to two weeks annual holiday at Christmas when the nursery will be closed, and no fees will be charged.

MEALS: We have a Health Eating Award. A healthy and varied diet will be provided at the nursery using fresh vegetables and produce, which will be seasonal and rotated every 3 weeks, and will be displayed on the parents’ notice board for information. We cater for special diets and vegetarians to ensure that each child receives the appropriate daily nutrition. A breakfast of cereal will be provided for early morning children; a cooked meal for lunch; a light tea in the afternoon; and snacks of fruit will be served during each session.

ABSENCES: It is important that you tell us as soon as possible if your child is to be absent. All absences are charged at the full rate.

SICKNESS AND MEDICINES: Any child suffering from an illness, such as diarrhoea, vomiting or any communicate disease should be kept at home until the symptoms have disappeared. Should a child become ill in our care, every effort will be made to contact parents / guardians. We reserve the right to remove a child to hospital in an emergency. Medicines are parents’ responsibility and must be provided by yourself and handed to the nursery manager.

NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL: One months notice is required in writing if you wish to withdraw your child from the nursery. Two weeks notice is necessary in writing if you wish to decrease your child’s sessions.

COLLECTION OF CHILDREN: For child protection and security, parents should inform a member of staff if the adult(s) usually nominated to collect the child alters.

POLICIES: If you wish to see any of our policies such as: Health and Safety, Behaviour / discipline, Equal opportunities, illness, etc., copies of these are kept either on or close to the parent’s notice board, and copies of these can be obtained from the office. Special events are organised throughout the year, from visits and trips to music concerts and ‘photograph days’. The nursery does have a uniform for all ages and these are on display outside the office.

FINALLY: To make a viewing appointment or for further enquiries please telephone 0161 785 0945. In order to secure a place for your child, parents need to complete a registration form along with a small fee.
